Soiless Roses Evapotranspiration model
The monitoring of rose crop in a greenhouse using proximity sensors and digital images allowed the development of estimation models of daily crop evapotranspiration based on a canopy and meteorological parameters. The evapotranspiration model is supported by a simplified model for estimation of canopy parameters.
Improved Irrigation Scheduling based on solar radiation
A biophysical model was developed to improve the conventional irrigation scheduling based on the cumulative radiation observed with a sensor outsider the greenhouse. The improved model, in addition to the cumulative radiation, uses the canopy characteristics (ascending and descending part) and climatic parameters.
