Graduated in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto and holds a master’s degree in Functional Biology and Plant Biotechnology from the same institution. She is currently working as a research fellow integrated on the BFREE project, aiming to develop sustainable alternatives for combating fungal diseases in fruits and vegetables. Her research interests include molecular and cellular plant biology and plant physiology.
