Filipe Pereira is a Food Engineer from the Portuguese Catholic University. Currently pursuing his PhD in Food Consumption and Nutrition Sciences, with a project based on the consumption of vegetable proteins in food service.
He has a transversal professional career in the food industry, from the meat processing industry, chocolates, fruit preparations and industrial catering.
Since 2011, he has also been a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave, and since 2021 he has been coordinating the CTESP in Food Innovation and Culinary Arts.
