Filipa Sousa has a degree in Biology from FCUP and obtained a master’s degree in Functional Biology and Biotechnology of Plants from the same institution. She is currently a PhD student within the project “Improving chestnut plants’ resilience to climate change: the role of stress priming”, funded by FCT. Her research focuses on the study of plant responses to various abiotic stress factors and the development of new strategies to increase their tolerance to them.
