Chiara has a BSc and MSc in Agronomic Engineering. Nowadays she is a PhD student of the Agricultural Sciences Program at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP), with a strong interest in pathology and plant physiology. In collaboration with the University of Birmingham (UK), she is developing her working program entitled “DIREcTION: Exploring host Defence mechanisms and sustaInable management tools for gREy mould mitigation in strawberry” at GreenUPorto, with the aim to explore new sustainable strategies against Botrytis cinerea, the main agent of grey mould disease in strawberry plants.
