Graduated in Biology and Master in Functional Biology and Plant Biotechnology (FCUP). Currently a PhD student (Biology – FCUP), developing a project entitled “Enhancing crop growth and yield under an ever-changing environment – the key role of Strigolactones”, financed by FCT. His research focuses mainly on the response of important crops to different environmental stressors, as well as on the development of new and sustainable strategies to improve their tolerance.
