The Associated Laboratory Inov4Agro, which brings together the R&D units CITAB and GreenUPorto, has promoted a close dialogue with the stakeholders of the main agricultural value chains in the North region. The objective has been to identify the main challenges and opportunities for research and collaboration, with a view to strengthening the transfer of knowledge and training of the respective socioeconomic agents. As a result of this interaction, seven value chains were identified for which there is recognized scientific and technical competence within the scope of the Associated Laboratory.

At Inov4Agro Open Day, the results obtained by the different working groups will be presented, complemented, at this event, by a broad discussion to all researchers, stakeholders and decision-makers with an interest in these themes. This is also an opportunity to identify synergies between Inov4Agro and the stakeholders, enhancing the medium and long-term sustainability of the Associated Laboratory’s research activities in the service of the valorization and sustainability of agricultural value chains and the national economy.
