Joaquim C.G. Esteves da Silva is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (Portugal). His main research focus: bioluminescence/chemiluminescence; green synthesis of luminescence nanoparticles; environmental sustainability; green materials/coatings; water disinfection and disinfection by products; natural organic matter; soil remediation; human health risk assessment. He has published more than 233 scientific papers in peer review international journals.
