We are pleased to announce the 4th EUGLOH Plant Science Meeting, which will be organized by the Master’s program in Functional Biology and Plant Biotechnology at the University of Porto, in the framework of the EUGLOH Alliance.

The event will take place at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, on November 21st and 22nd, offering in-person participation and the option to join remotely via online video streaming (hybrid edition).

This meeting extends an open invitation to students of the EUGLOH Alliance Universities and the entire plant biology scientific community for participation and oral or poster presentation. It promises to be a remarkable occasion for exchanging research ideas, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, uniting students, academics, and researchers in the context of the EUGLOH Alliance.

The event will focus on four main topics (sessions):

• PLANT FUNCTIONAL GENOMICS
• PLANT PHYSIOLOGY
• PLANT-MICROBE INTERACTIONS
• PLANT AND ALGAE BIOTECHNOLOGY

The final program, which will be available soon, includes four plenary lectures by distinguished international scientists aimed at inspiring students to pursue the field of plant biology. A special highlight on Professor Christine Foyer, from the University of Birmingham-UK, one of the most renowned authorities worldwide in the field of Plant Physiology.
