Tânia Ribeiro Fernandes is a PhD Researcher at GreenUPorto. Her work aims to understand the molecular interactions between plant and pathogen, particularly bacteria and fungi, with the ultimate goal of optimize management and control programs against plant diseases in a sustainable way. She holds a MSc in Molecular Genetics from University of Minho (PT) and a PhD in Agrifood and Biological Sciences from University of Córdoba (ES) through a Marie Curie Fellowship. Her main research interests are genetics, microbiology, plant pathology, and plant-pathogen crosstalk.
