Achieved a BSc and MSc in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, having completed his PhD in Agricultural Sciences in 2023 also from FCUP. Its main areas of research are related to the use of edible insects in the food industry (focusing on fractionation techniques, consumer perception and development of new products) and the application of innovative sensory analysis and consumer perception methodologies.
