Ana Aguiar has a PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the Higher Institute of Agronomy/UTL (Lisbon, Portugal) and graduation in Agronomy Engineering from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Vila Real, Portugal). Was agricultural entrepreneur. Currently Assistant Professor at Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto and develops research in integrated pest management. She wrote several scientific papers and other publications in Plant protection.
