My research interests are in the areas of ergodic theory, dynamical systems, probability and extreme value theory. I have been studying statistical properties of dynamical systems, with special emphasis on the existence of limiting laws, which borrow some probabilistic predictability to the erratic behaviour of chaotic systems. In particular, I mention the study of extreme value laws, which are conneceted to the recurrence properties of the systems.
